Company Chosen: Ansell
Your task is to prepare a mock report for the Chairman of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) on your company's business activities in Australia.
The assignment for this semester is divided in two parts - Part 1 has to be done individually by each student and Part 2 done by a group of maximum 5 people (students will be allocated in groups in week 3).
Part I: In week 2, each student is required to select a companyfrom the list of ASX companies posted on iLearn. Each student can choose an ASX100 company (i.e. firm) from a selection of industries. You have to conduct an analysis of how external factors have affected the functioning of company. These external factors should comprise of the following: (a) political factors, (b) economic factors, (c) social factors, (d) technology, (e) environmental and (f) legal factors.
The analysis to Part 1 of the assignment should not be more than 500 words, plus an executive summary of no more than 100 words.
This part has to be completed and submitted in hard copy in week 8 (by 3rd May 2017, 4pm). No online/email submissions will be accepted.
