Your task is to design a display with three LEDs that has the following four modes of operations:
Mode 1: Left to right operation 1 - left LED switches ON and then switches OFF, followed by the middle LED, and then the right LED. This sequence repeats in Mode 1.
Mode 2: Right to left operation 1 - Right LED switches ON and then switches OFF, followed by the middle LED, and then the left LED. This sequence repeats in Mode 2.
Mode 3: Left to right operation 2 - left LED switches ON, followed by the middle LED, and then the right LED. Then all the LEDS switch OFF. This sequence repeats in Mode 3.
Mode 4: Left to right operation 2 - Right LED switches ON, followed by the middle LED, and then the left LED. Then all the LEDS switch OFF. This sequence repeats in Mode 4.
Use D flip-flops. Use multiplexers to implement the combination logic.
Perform the functional simulation of the circuit.
You must demonstrate the work of:
- The results of the simulation of the circuit.
- The complete VHDL source code (including architecture) for the system logic block.
