The work of Marshall McLuhan to examine a piece of modern popular culture. Think about a preferred book that has been turned into a movie--this will include graphic novels. Explain how did the change in media (from print to film) affect the way that you experienced the story? Did it affect explain how the storytellers told the story (which elements they included or left out, what was emphasized, etc.) Did you prefer one version over the other, and if so, why?
I will be using Tucker Max's "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell"
You will need to use McLuhan's argument to support your own, which denotes drawing from the "Gutenberg Galaxy," and also from the book
"Understanding Media," which you may find on reserve in McFarlin library.
Your specific example may help exemplify OR refute McLuhan's theoretical argument.
