General Problem Statement: A bucket of about I50 ping-pong balls will be placed near one end of a table that is 24" wide and 48: long. The bucket is mounted to the bottom of a 35" x 16" x 20" box. The box is secured to the floor. You must design a device that will remove the balls from the bucket, and deposit them into the box. You will have 60 seconds to remove balls.
You must operate your device from the opposite end of the table as shown below.

Your device must rest on top of the table. You can reach through the plane with both arms, but your head and shoulders
You will work in teams of two and your device will compete against the rest of the class. Your partner can stand by the box and give you instructions, but cannot touch or control the device. Cannot lean through it. Your goal is to remove all the balls from the bucket in one minute or less. If you remove all the balls in less than 60 sec, your time will help your score (fastest time wins).
But, for every ball that lands outside the box, there is a penalty of -3 balls from your total and +3 seconds added to your time.
