Let’s assume that your area manager of a small-cap organizations that manages 47 employees who have a direct reporting structure to you.
You have three employees who have performance issues surrounding their performance and you have to conduct a performance improvement plan (PIP) with the three employees. Write three negative statements (one for each employee) describing their performance. The positions of the three employees can be assumed or creative based on your interpretation.
After 90 days, the same three employees have turned their performance around and now they are your star performers and you want to acknowledge their contributions to the organization and to the team in which you manage. Write those same statements you did for them in a negative manner now in a positive manner.
