The Clinical Staff
You are the CEO of Bradley Hospital a 400-bed voluntary, general, acute care hospital. The recently elected president of the PSO has just told you that many members of the PSO, but especially the physicians, are unhappy because they believe you are trying to control their clinical activities. She stated, “We feel that hospital management should take care of the nonmedical areas and leave the practice of medicine where it belongs- in the hands of professionals.”
