You may not use lines from television or film, not lines form poems or song lyrics. So using book, such as Bartlett''s familiar Quotations or the Oxford Book of Quotations or even a reliable Internet quotation site to find a good quote related to life or anything else.
Using your chosen quotation, you will prepare a short formal speech that examines how the theme expressed in the quotation relates to a larger, contemporary social concern. In other words, you are to write a speech which reflects the relevancy of the quotation to our world today. This may require a bit of research and you must cite, in your speech, the sources of any information that you use to develop the ideas in your speech. So please cite in MLA format for each info you find.
The speech is 2 to 3 minutes in length
