Purpose of the Assessment
The purpose of this assignment is to develop your ability to perform data input, drawgraphs and do basic analysis using SPSS. It also develops your ability to conduct aseries of advanced quantitative data analysis.
Assessment Activities
You are required to produce a portfolio document describing the steps you havefollowed to produce the outcomes for the activities below. For each activity, show asummary of the SPSS results (tables and/or graphs) and explain the process you wentthrough in order to obtain them.
Spss Problem 3
The SPSS data "Age and fat" (below) contains data from Mazess et al(1984)* research which investigated a new method of measuring body composition. Itgives the body fat percentage, age and gender for 18 normal adults between the agesof 23 and 61 years.
Are age and % fat correlated? If so, in what way? Provide an explanation based onyour SPSS results.
