You are designing a pcs base station that operates at 1800

You are designing a PCS base station that operates at 1800 MHz. The receiver is co-located on a tower with UHF police and business radio systems that operate at 450 MHz. Since the the 4th harmonic from the UHF system is directly in the PCS band, you are concerned that UHF transmissions may overload your receiver and produce undesirable responses. You decide to build a high-pass filter to reduce the interfering signal energy.

Using the design techniques described in Pozar or other filter design techniques, design a high-pass filter with no more than 2 dB attenuation at 1500 MHz and at least 45 dB attenuation at 500 MHz. Use the lowest filter order possible to attain this performance. Assume that the receiver input impedance is 50 ohms and specify the inductance and capacitance values needed for this filter.

Extra credit: what is the filter attenuation at 1800 MHz?
