Writing an analysis essay on the atrial cross

Assignment task: The Atrial Cross

In the sixteenth century, after the Spanish set out an infiltration and vanquishment of Mexico, Spanish settlers began their task to persuade and convert the indigenous men and women of the Mexican empire. The very first step in fulfilling this was to focus on constructing Spanish conventos and churches. In less than a century hundreds of Spanish conventos were constructed and the religion of Christianity began to swifty stride the nation. Soon after, conventos were found in nearly every map, Christianity was perceived and presented in just about every work of art and the words of God were exhibited everywhere. Although, this extensive change was not sufficient in entirely engulfing the indigenous traditions practiced generations after generations. Tid-bits of pre-Hispanic allegory were still constructed into these new state of the art found in the atrial cross of just about every single one of the Spanish conventos. Through writing this paper I have in view on analyzing and talking over the very significant atrial cross established in Villa de Gaudalupe pinpointed in Mexico City, then acknowledge the significance of the pre-hispanic symbolism found on the ancient atrial crosses fabricated during the time period when the Spanish considered in converting a nation to the religion of Christianity.
