Assignment task:
One of the interesting technological advancements over the past ten years has been the introduction and evolution of the USB flash drive. These flash or thumb drives are small, relatively cheap data storage devices, with some capable of holding up to one terabyte of data. However, the low cost, ease of use and small size of these thumbs drives present some unique security challenges for many companies and organizations. In your opinion, what's the best way for an organization to control the utilization of thumb drives? Should they be banned, require encryption, or perhaps nothing should be done at all? Please share your thoughts on this subject.
