Write thought about historical legacy of juneteenth

Problem: Students will create their own 3-5 minute audio file or video of their thoughts on The Historical Legacy of Juneteenth within the National Museum of African American History and Culture exhibit.  For example, the exhibit on Educating the Newly Freed has material on HBCU schools, which of course is of great interest to us given our own institution.  Your audio/video may engage in any of the things you find within the exhibit you chose.  Try not to cover too many things in your assignment, the point is to dive deeply into your own analysis.  This is not a formal spoken assignment, meaning you can feel free to draw connections between the historical and the modern world.  In essence, how does the online exhibit help you understand the Reconstruction period? Included with your audio file or video should be a 1 paragraph synopsis.  Let your classmates know which exhibit you are speaking about and some of the main highlights or impressions you took from the website.  This is a reflection type of assignment and there is no written component other than the synopsis. I have included another link to the museum below.  This assignment is worth 25 points and will count toward a Discussion Board grade.  You are not expected to comment on the audio/video files of your classmates, though I strongly encourage you to listen/watch to a few of them.
