Assignment Task: Write 800 words about the topic - Interior design & architecture.
The main body should talk about each one of them, how they have a physiological impact on people, influence on behavior + influence in therapy + the benefits of interior design.
In a few weeks you will start to write an assessed essay for EAP. This reading task will be used to research information for the essay.
Assignment Part 1: Come up with a topic for your essay:
Mind map what you might include by drawing a spider gram, make a list, or do some free writing on at least one piece of paper.
Put your name, and your topic, at the top of the paper.
Assignment Part 2: Go to the library
Do a search to check for books or other resources you could use for research. If you find enough for your chosen topic, borrow the books. If not, change your topic!
Use Microsoft word to write a list of books etc. that you will use.
Write a paragraph evaluating three of the books or journals you chose (scope, audience, authority, currency etc.)
Assignment Part 3: Make notes from your chosen books (remembering to be active!). Put your name and topic at the top of each note page, followed by the author/s surname/s, initial/s, (year) title, place of publication and publisher. Use separate sheets of paper for each book.
