Assignment task:
Write an Introduction For this assignment, you will write the introduction that you will eventually use in your argument. An introduction should provide general background information on your topic, and end with your thesis statement. It should be one paragraph in length. View the video lecture for more examples of what you can include in your introduction. You should use the same thesis statement from before, unless you want to change it. You don't have to follow this template exactly, but this is one way to write an introduction: A sentence that will hook the readers. Two or three sentences of background information. An introduction to the argument (this can be in the form of topic sentences). Your thesis statement.
