Preamble:
The questions require you to write and run FORTRAN or Visual Basic programs which perform Monte Carlo simulation.
Because marking computer programs is not straightforward, the following conditions will apply:
A) Submit a listing of your program along with any relevant input and output files.
B) Use comments liberally to document your algorithm. Listings submitted without adequate comments will not be marked.
C) Clearly state one of the following on your program listing:
1) You believe your program worked correctly.
2) Your program did not compile successfully. Indicate on your listing the compilation errors produced by the compiler.
3) Where the correct answer is given in the question, your program ran but failed to give the correct answer.
D) If there is reason to suspect that your program cannot do what you claim, you will be asked to demonstrate execution of your program.
