Assignment task: Hello everyone, Sometimes you read that pirates emerged as individuals or groups. What is the difference between pirates emerging as individuals and groups? I mean "individual pirate" cannot mean that they operated or sailed completely on their own without any crew. I guess the difference maybe lies in the fact that some pirates operated independently with a small crew and maybe one or few ship and they were not part of a larger pirate Gang or organisation. Or were there any pirates that sailed completely alone?
