Problem
Ask students to choose a celebrity-an actor, musician, athlete, politician, or other well-known person-whose behaviors might show signs of mental illness. For the purposes of this brief report the celebrity need not have been professionally diagnosed with a disorder. Rather, it's sufficient that the person appears to have a disorder, on the basis of media reports and other information. For example, Michael Jackson may not have been professionally diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder, yet from all appearances (so to speak), one could reasonably conclude that such a diagnosis could be made.
