o There are many places to look for jobs, but for this exercise, use Craigslist.
1.Find one hospitality job that you would be a) interested in applying for and b) is attainable given your current level of experience.
2.Submit the text of the job listing (cut and paste).
3.List six talents/skills that you find asked for in the ad. Use an ad that has quite a bit of information in it; it will make your life much easier.
4.Write an email cover letter for your resume. The paragraphs should be relatively short, perhaps no more than three sentences each.
1.One paragraph for introduction.
2.Three paragraphs for the body (one for each of three skill/talents that you can offer the employer).
3.The final paragraph asking for a meeting.
5. The form should be that of a business email.

These directions are specific, follow them to the letter.
1. Make a 1 page resume for applying for hospitality jobs.
2.Use at least a 1 inch border.
3.Use no more than three past jobs.
4.Use 5 bullet points per job to describe achievements at that job that show your talents/skills
5.Use no smaller than 12 point type in a business mode, no type like this.
