Problem:
The diet I'm choosing to write about is the paleo diet. The paleo diet is a dietary plan based on foods similar to what might have been eat during the Paleolithic era. The paleo diet food list includes fruits, vegatables, lean meat like grass-fed beef and game meats, fish including those high in omega - 3 fatty acids like salmon and tuna, and nuts. This diet excludes dairy or grain products and processed food. The purpose of this diet is to eat foods likely eaten by early humans. It is based on the idea that our genes are not well adjusted to modern diets that grew out of farming. One might follow the paleo diet if they are trying to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight or to reduce heart disease or cardiovascular disease risk factors. I do feel that this diet would provide the body with all the micro and macronutrients that it needs because you are getting foods from all of the healthy ways to get it other than getting your dairy or vitamin d from milk.
