Write about the ending scene in Unforgiven by clinc eastwood movie. The scene where Munny kills little Bob. Be careful to do more than analyze words. Look closely at all filmic elements--framing, lighting, camera position and movement, editing, sound etc. For example, what of the symbolism of the rain the begins the sequence? Or notice that Little Bill is buying drinks for the posse out of the "county budget"--just as alcohol had been used by Munny moments earlier to anaesthetize him from what he's about to do. Notice that through compressed editing we don't even see Munny enter the saloon. And when we first see him inside, it's a point of view shot that puts the audience in his position. Yet when he shoots, the camera has come around and he's pointing more or less into the audience. Munny's motion is highly mechanical too, which is interesting. As is the fact that the first person he kills is the saloon owner. ALl these details need to be looked at very close. And others. Please make sure you analyze the camera angles and the background noise. Not a summary of the movie.
