Problem: You can write a traditional literary-critical paper (1500 words minimum, no maximum) in which you offer your interpretations of Coraline by Neil Gaiman. The topic is open. As always, I'm happy to bounce topic ideas with you and to help you formulate a topic that works for you.
If you choose to do a critical essay, please make sure that at least one or two paragraphs (around 200-400 words, minimum) offer a reflection in which you talk about the work you've done on this project: what did you learn by doing this project? How does this project help pull this course together for you? Etc. It's 100% okay to do the reflection as a separate piece of writing if it doesn't seem to fit smoothly into your essay.
