Position Papers
Overview
You are required to develop and review three different position papers. For each topic, you must select a position and defend it using empirical data gathered through research. Once your paper is completed, submit it to your assigned group for review and comments. Then use the comments to edit each paper and submit them individually. The topics you must write about include:
Note: Each position paper are 4 (four) pages and response to each position all.
• Position Paper 1: Global Climate Change - Is climate change a natural phenomenon or cause by man?
• Position Paper 2: Capitalism and Natural Resources - Can they coexist? If so, how? If not, why not?
• Position Paper 3: Nuclear Energy - Is nuclear energy a viable clean energy alternative? Is so, why? If not, why not?

Prompt: For each topic above, you must select a position and defend it using empirical data gathered through research. Each paper must have the following format:
1. Summary of issue and statement of position
2. Review of scientific research
3. Conclusions based on the research.
4. List of references and resources
A successful paper will demonstrate competency with respect to the following objectives:
• Gain greater knowledge by researching one or more of those environmental issues
• Analyze and critique the different policies, processes, procedures and philosophies used by individuals, businesses, and others that affect the natural environment
