Instructions for Research Project - Part 1
Part 1 - Choose a problem or issue pertaining to your community. Using concepts covered in the first part of the course, complete a literature review on the problem you want to solve.
Include past proposals, programs and interventions. I have included two examples of literature reviews under this tab for you to consult.
Please contact me if you are having trouble thinking of a topic and I will put you in contact with someone who can help you.
You should have at least 6 journal articles listed. Be sure to summarize the journal article in detail. You will use this information later when you write your policy brief.
The research must be credible and compelling.
Your community DOES NOT include your place of employment, or your home - look to the larger community that you are a part. It does not have to be in South Carolina.
