The Month of Ramadan in Islamic Religion as in Ritual
One of the fundamental tasks of theology is to interpret religious classics-texts, images and rituals that represent a religious tradition.
This assignment is a paper concerning a religious classic and its interpretation. Its objective is to accomplish these tasks:
A. to comprehensively describe a religious classic and explain to the reader why it can be understood as such, namely, as a religious classic.
B. to interpret the classic by identifying: (a) its historical origin significance, and (b) what it has meant and continues to mean to communities, societies and cultures.
