Format: double-spaced, no longer than 500 words.
Find a news article that supports an answer to the question you chose (you don't have to agree with this position).
Paper Format and Structure:
Introductory paragraph which states your thesis/argument (i.e., answer to the question) and brief mention of 2 or 3 examples you will be using to support the thesis (which are to be drawn from the article you find). Reference the article.
Several body paragraphs further explaining the examples you are using from the article (be sure to include a topic sentence in each body paragraph).
One paragraph providing a counter argument.
