Write a letter to your co-worker and use the criteria below to make sure you edit and revise your letter correctly;
1. The letter has a “high skim value.” Wording is edited for brevity. Formatting is effective.
2. Signposts are used to connect ideas. The opening presents an overview of the letter. The closing includes any actions which need to be taken and exhibits good will.
3. Paragraphs support the signposts. Information presented in the paragraphs flows from general to specific.
4. Correct grammar, spelling and punctuation are used throughout the letter.
