Task 1: Feature story
Write a feature story on How King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman managed to build the Saudi state in 1932
– Be an in-depth article about a person, place, object or concept — a human interest story with an original perspective or angle.
– Clearly indicate what type of feature story it is, e.g. Human Interest, Profiles, How-To, Historical Features, Seasonal Themes, Behind the Scenes.
– Have a title.
– Have an interview.
– Present facts from at list two print or web sources, and at least one interview that you have carried out.
– Cite its sources in a reference list at the bottom of the article (this list does not have to be long as it is a feature article not an essay).
– Be between 1,000 and 1,200 words.
– Be well-presented and well-written, paying attention to spelling, punctuation and grammar.
