Assignment: International Entrepreneurship Report
In groups of 2-3, students will imagine they are entering an international market with their product and/or service as either an expansion to an existing business or the creation of a new venture. Issues to be addressed in the report are:
• identify your business;
• the product(s)/service(s) will you offer;
• the market you wish to enter and the rationale for that choosing that market;
• a country profile of the market you will enter;
• evidence of the demand for your product(s)/services(s) in that market;
• analysis of the political, economic, social, cultural, technological, environmental, legal, geographical, human resource issues in your chosen market;
• an assessment of the organizational issues you will face while entering this new market;
• any possible unforeseen obstacles and contingencies that could mitigate them; and
• ensure you base your assessment and recommendations on concepts learned in this course and other relevant courses, and explain how you will maximize your chance of success in this market.
Your report will be approximately 10 pages in length (double-spaced, 12 point font).
