Write an essay
Your choice: pick one
1- Classification/ Division essay. pick a subgroup of three people you know ( high school math teachers, bosses, uncles, friends of your girlfriend. Now write a specific, well-detailed. well-structured essay in which you distinguish them. Your thesis should key into your body paragraphs (Ex:'' There are three types of bosses: the screamer, the mentor, and the pal.'') Your topic sentence should help in the division (Ex.: " the first type is the screamer.")
2- Write a comparison/ contrast essay in which you take two people you know, and show how they react (similarities, if ever; differences) in a similar moment involving crises and conflict (car accident, poor service, illness).
Remember: Thesis at the end of a well-developed intro -- 1300 to 1500 words -- typed, double-spaced, stapled -- topic sentences at the start of every paragraph.
