The Oxford English Dictionary defines "Dystopia" as "an imaginary place or condition in which everything is as bad as possible." It continues to describe George Orwell's 1984 as "not a world we should like to live in, but one we must be sure to avoid." In addition to Orwell's classic dystopia, 1984, there are also several films that could also be described as "dystopian."
Critically analyze 1984 as it relates to a dystopian film.
Write a comparative essay, examining the "dystopia" in 1984 to one of the dystopian films listed below.

1. Essays must include at least 3 direct quotations (from 1984) and 3 indirect references (examples or instances from the film).
2. Essays is 7-8 paragraphs in length, and will be written MLA format.
