Problem
Suppose that you were running for Congress:
a. Write a short campaign position paper outlining your platform on government spending and taxation policy. If you advocate any new programs, what would you say about their tax cost?
b. Do you think your positions will help you raise campaign finances? Will they help you get elected? Why or why not? Address these questions in a letter to your finance chairman.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
