Part I - Deconstruct a highly-successful PR campaign from the last three years (2014-2017) and identify the RPIE concepts.
This will require a great deal of research; Primary would be most beneficial, so think about companies or nonprofits you have contacts at that you can interview. Prepare a 5-minute presentation to capture highlights of the campaign and each of the four steps. An appropriate visual aid is required.
Part II - Write a 3- page paper analyzing the strategy behind the RPIE concepts - why did they chose their priority public?
How did the communication channels work together? How did they differ? What did the timeline look like? What are three-four best practices you can take away? Specifically note how systems theory applies to this case study.
NOTE: I have heard more than enough about the Ice Bucket Challenge...that one is off limits. Remember this is a PR campaign, NOT a marketing or advertising campaign.
