Many times after doing a clean install not all the drivers will come through. This week you will be working with how to determine which drivers are the ones you need and how to install them

Lab Steps
1. With your personal desktop or laptop you need to create two checklists (Pre-installation & Postinstallation) of how you were to change your OS.
2. Using either your home computer or the schools you need to go to that machines vendors website and locate the driver section.
3. When there you need to answer the following
a. What manufacture is the PC?
b. What information off of the PC will help you locate the drivers?
c. How many different OS's does the manufacture still support?
i. What are they?
d. What are the Urgent/Recommended drivers that the manufacture says needs updating?
4. Next you are to create a "How To" for someone on how they can update their drivers if any of their machines components are either not showing up in the device manager or are malfunctioning
a. Make sure to make it easy to read and follow
b. Inserting screenshots would be a good idea
