Currently, there are many organizations that use the S.M.A.R.T. objectives method when establishing personal performance objectives for their employees. SMART is an acronym for:
Specific,
Measurable,
Achievable,
Realistic, and
Time scaled
Based on your experience and from the assigned reading, do you believe that organizations should continue to use this method? Does it appear to be a beneficial or successful tool or should methods be modified to another system?
