Question: Amazon warehouse workers around the country have been putting whether to unionize to the vote (seemingly also true for employees of Starbucks). Please describe what it means to have the right to unionize (textbook). What are the practical pros and cons for an Amazon warehouse or Starbucks worker to unionize? If you worked for one of these companies how do you think you would vote? Why or why not? Do you think workers should be forced to join a union if their workplace votes to unionize but, individually, they do not want to? What are some reasons it makes sense to force someone to join the union in that scenario and, on the other hand, why would the individual's objection be valid?
