Discussion: Capstone Topic Description
1. Conduct initial research into your selected topic using several authoritative sources from the university library, texts from the program, and other course materials.

b. Include a brief description of the problem you have discovered and proposed ideas you may use to provide a solution.

1. Using the CITM-504 Progress Report Template, provide your instructor with information on your progress toward completion of the capstone project. The template asks the following questions:
a. Provide a brief overview of your capstone project work.
b. What work is completed (bulleted format)?
c. Provide a brief description of work in progress.
d. What insights from your coursework have been important in developing your project?
e. In examining the challenges and complexity presented in your capstone project, what takeaways do you feel you can apply to your real-life career and professional experiences? Reflect upon what you've learned this workshop.

Assignment 4: Preliminary Reference List (Phase 1 of Final Capstone Project)
1. This is Phase 1 of your final capstone project.
2. Prepare a document that lists each reference you intend to use in your project, along with an annotation of each item (in the form of an annotated bibliography).
3. The references should be in APA 7th edition format. Follow each reference with a paragraph that gives a summary of the article you are referencing.

4. You should have at least five references by this point in the development of your project.

Assignment 7: Finalized Capstone Paper Outline and Reference List (Phase 2 of Final Capstone Project)
1. This is Phase 2 of your final capstone project.
2. Refer to the Capstone Project Guide as needed.
3. Prepare an outline of your project paper. Base the outline on the Capstone Project Template. You may use the template and embed the outline into each section of the template. You need to include an outline bullet for each major and minor idea in each section (the bullets would be taken out in the final paper).
4. The assignment submission should also include all the references you intend to use in the paper. Place your references in the template under the reference section. No annotations should be included at this stage of the outline. Your references must be in compliance with APA 7th edition. A total of 10 or more references should be used in the paper.
