Assignment: Power in Organizations Paper
As you have read in the required readings, there are three fundamental sources of power (or five when you look at expert and referent power) in any organization. Choose an organization you have worked for or researched and analyze the forms of power.
Instructions:
o Which of the sources of power is officially recognized by senior leadership?
o What are the reasons for the dominance of this form of power in your organization?
o Would a different form of power be more effective? Defend your choice.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
