The ESPN film "Branded" discusses the lack of opportunity in professional sports for women. We will discussing the following questions later this week.
1) Last week, you wrote on a notecard why women's sports aren't as popular as men's. While watching the film, jot down a few reasons you think the commentators/athletes/etc. in the film would give for why women's sports are not as popular as men's.
2) Save this one for after or towards the end of the film. If you were the commissioner of the WNBA (or other women's professional sports league), what would you do to increase interest in your league? What are some strategies that could generate more interest in women's professional sports?
