Discussion Post: Business Communication
We are constantly hearing a wide variety of different types of business presentations. From this module, we learned that there are a variety of different types of speeches (informative, persuasive, roasts, etc.) and different types of speaking contexts (small group, mediated, board room, etc.).
Reflect on two different business presentations that you've recently experienced, and respond to the following:
a) Briefly describe the purpose, audience, and call to action for these business presentations.
b) Were these presentations effective or ineffective? Explain your reason(s).
c) Provide at least one recommendation for each presentation for improving its effectiveness.
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
