Problem
i. Why were the foundering fathers so concern about the amount of power vested in the President? It was the most debated part of the Constitutional Convention in 1787.
ii. Why were the foundering fathers also concern about how to elect the president? Note we don't have a direct democracy, but an Electoral College. Therefore the political power is not necessarily granted to the masses.
iii. Can the American presidency survive with the lack of power vested in the President? Note the number of Roles he has, but ultimately he has to go to Congress for approval.
iv. Should the president of the USA have more power or is placing power in one person another form of Dictatorship?
