In an essay of approximately 500 words address, How did the Constitution impact the development of American freedom?
Your response should incorporate the following:
1. The factors that led to the drafting of the Constitution.
• Why did some people think it was necessary to change the Articles of Confederation?
• Why were some white males of property opposed to the new Constitution?
2. The ways in which the new Constitution considered poor white males, slaves, women and Native Americans.
• Using specific examples, examine the unrepresented groups and consider what constitutional republican government meant for them.
• Cite the language of theU.S. Constitution in your post.
Please incorporate specific facts, examples and statistics from your required readings and at least two additional appropriate college level sources.
