Many ideas, religions, technologies, cultural groups, trade goods and philosophies crossed Eurasia during the century of Mongol rule, transforming Silk Road civilizations and accelerating transculturation. Dieases also travelled accross trade networks, shaping cultures and creating disruptive historical change. In our classes, we have discussed the impact of the Bubonic Plague as it spread accross Eurasia in the 14th century.
