Problem
1) What is TQM? Choose a couple of TQM elements (i.e., continuous improvement, competitive benchmarking, employee empowerment, team approach, decisions based on facts rather than opinions, knowledge of tools, supplier quality, champion, quality at the source, suppliers) and explain what they are, and why they are important for the management of quality.
2) Look at the Baldrige Award recipients, choose one recipient, and discuss their excellent in quality from any main areas (i.e., leadership, strategy, customer, measurement, workforce, operations, and results).
