Why the solution depends on the relative number of particles

Since the freezing point of a solution depends on the relative number of particles, what would you caclcuate to be the freezing point of 0.1 m solutions in water of (a) NaCl, (b) BaCl2? Assume that these salts are 100% ionized in solution. (Compare your answers with the actual respective freezing points: -0.348 degrees C and -0.407 degrees C. The difference is due to the decreased activity of the ions. Because of the attractive forces between the postively and negatively charged ions, they do not move completly independently of one another.)
