Suppose a researcher uses a multiple baseline design to evaluate a therapy to treat two different problem behaviors for the same individual. Draw a graph showing the data that would be obtained if the therapy affected both behaviors simultaneously, even though the therapy was directed at only one behavior. Explain why the data you have drawn would not be considered to be clear evidence for a causeand-effect relationship between the therapy and the behaviors.
