1. Take note that Linda Gillespie co-wrote both this article (Why Teaching Infants and Toddlers Is Important and Why Hurry? Respecting Development and Learning), which we read for our first discussion in this module. Does that surprise you? Do these two articles contradict each other? Why or why not?
2. As suggested in this article, "Think about a time when you learned something from a great teacher. Maybe it was when you were in school, or maybe your teacher was a friend or family member who recently taught you how to knit or cook a new recipe." What are some of the things this person did to help you learn? Can you do any of those same things to help infants and toddlers learn?
