Problem: Society already pays a lot in taxes and when they is overcrowding, we end up paying more. I feel like the idea is good that we want to keep violent offenders off the streets and the public protected but there's all these pros and cons to everything. Also, sometimes it takes people a while to finally wants to change their behaviors and what's to say an offender is not able to be rehabilitated after their third strike? Do we just say no and not give them a chance after proving themselves in prison with rehabilitation programs?
