Problem
1) Explain why studying logos, etc., matters based on what you've noticed about your own writing.
2) Describe your own ethos as a writer/scholar: what authority/credibility do you bring to this project? why should readers of this draft trust your interpretations? (Yes, the same prompt again, but each time you write something new, you ethos changes; and, yes, this rhetorical move still seems odd/awkward, but like every habit, it gets easier with practice. And, also, yes: when you write other pieces - for school or elsewhere in life - you probably do want to make an ethos appeal of some sort to your own credibility because, if for no other reason, your audience will consider it whether you acknowledge it directly or not.)
