Discussion Post: Supply Chain Management & Models and Forecasting
Part I: Suppliers
Should a firm attempt to have fewer or more suppliers? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each approach? Your initial post should be 200 words.
Part II: Forecasting Methods
Read Problem 6 in Chapter 6 of your textbook. Calculate and answer parts a through d. Include all calculations and spreadsheets in your post. Explain why the moving average method was used instead of another forecasting method. What might be another forecasting method that could prove to be just as useful? Your initial post should be 200 words.
NOTE: Be sure to have a well-developed paragraph for all required work (posting & responses). A well-developed paragraph contains 5-7 sentences for each paragraph created.

c) Use third person voice instead of first person voice.
d) You must use a thesis statement when writing your assignments.
e) Use a variety of transitions to help the flow of the paragraphs
f) Check out the PIE structure of your paragraphs mentioned in the writing center.
g) There are two types of in-text citations that you should be using: a. parenthetical and b. signal phrase
The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
