Why might the authors see it as a virtue

Problem

In the art and fear chapter 2 what you think of uncertainty. Why might the authors see it as a 'virtue'? What does- "And tolerance for uncertainty is the prerequisite to succeeding." mean? Does the idea of 'uncertainty' as it relates to art surprise you or make sense? How might you experience uncertainty in art or life in general? Might being open to uncertainty change the way we approach or engage with art- as makers or viewers? How might these ideas relate to Gabriel Orozco wanting to be a beginner, or any of the other artists we've looked at this semester?
